The AGI Era Begins by the End of 2027 — Humanity’s Greatest Turning Point

Dystopia or Utopia? The Future Will Be Decided by Human Choice.

What if the human brain does not create ideas from nothing, but instead functions like an antenna, receiving information from somewhere beyond us?

At least, that is what I have believed for a long time.

Music, films, inventions, art…

Perhaps the people we call geniuses are not creating something entirely new. Instead, they may simply be receiving signals from a world beyond our perception more clearly than others.

Each person may have a different kind of “receiver.”

Some receive music.

Some receive stories.

Others receive inventions.

I have loved science fiction films for many years and have watched countless of them.

Looking back, many technologies that once existed only in fiction have gradually become reality.

Artificial intelligence.

Humanoid robots.

Self-driving vehicles.

Voice-based AI.

Advanced surveillance technologies.

Perhaps science fiction has never been mere fantasy.

Perhaps it has always been a glimpse of the future.

However, there is one thing that stands out.

Most science fiction does not portray a utopia.

Instead, it depicts a dystopia—a world where advanced technology enriches only a small minority, while many people lose their jobs, their freedom, and even their sense of purpose.

And today, as I watch the rapid progress of AGI and humanoid robots, I cannot help but feel that this future is no longer decades away.

It feels much closer than most people realize.

Of course, no one can say with certainty that this is the future we will face.

But one thing is certain:

Technology will continue to advance.

That is why the most important question today is no longer,

“Can we build AGI?”

The real question is,

“How do we build a society where humans and AGI can coexist?”

The future could become either a dystopia or a utopia.

The path we take will not be determined by technology itself.

It will be determined by human wisdom, good governance, and the choices we make as a society.
